I laughed. Then I rolled my eyes. Then, somewhere between cynicism and sadness, I felt that old sting again. The one that comes when we humans try to sell transcendence.

The Cosmic Joke

Separation, lack of trust, lack of compassion, and lack of individuated education. From there grow feelings like loneliness, unworthiness, and a sense of lost-ness, from which derive our modern society’s physical ailments. From these come wars, trash-filled oceans, and deforestation. When I look at this chain of cause and effect I can only come to this one conclusion: The only way out of our dilemma is the way into the heart.
