Wild Jungle Tobacco

In the Peruvian traditions, Mapacho is known as the equally potent complement to Ayahuasca. It is a vital tool inside and also outside of the ceremony. The shaman uses it in the form of cigars, in the form of dry or liquid snuff, or as a strong purgative.

Cigars are essential when guiding ceremonies. The smoke transmits intention and moves energy. It can be used to protect a space, to cleanse and connect the earthly with the celestial planes. Outside ceremony, Tobacco smoke helps us focus, ground, and manifest our intention.

Rapé, or liquid snuff, is a more physical experience. It clears and opens the mind and also cleanses bodily energies.

Used as a purgative, Tobacco intensely purifies the whole system and prepares us for a profound plant medicine experience.
